and then i lived once again

Buried under tons of rubble, in total darkness, without food, water, light, or the ability to move—and with the ceiling hanging precariously just inches above my head—all I wanted was to find my family.
My name is Viral Dalal, an Information and Technology specialist, speaker, and the author of Choosing Light. I was pulled out alive, unscathed, days after the ferocious Gujarat earthquake.
It was called a Miracle.
It was the tallest building in the town of Bhuj, India, where we were vacationing.

After living through the unthinkable, It was only the beginning of my life journey.

The Gujarat earthquake survivor story.
“There is something inside us all, that tells us things, sends us signals, and guides us. This sense is always at work, giving us cues. Even though no one told me that I was going to survive, I somehow knew that I was going to be okay.”

It was pouring that evening. Sun was hiding behind dark, wet clouds and it had started to get chilly. The seats filled up quickly, and the evening lit up.
